Based on surveys and reviews, NIE happens to be in the top 10 engineering colleges of karnataka.  In terms of placement offers between the two colleges, NIE had its highest package about 20-24lpa whereas KLE still has around 10-15lpa. Faculties are well experienced in NIE are recurited only after masters or phds. Campus of NIE is divided into 2 parts and is considered one of the small campus colleges in Karnataka, library and hostel facilities are really good with new buildings and college infrastructure.  They recently had a building constructed for electrical and electronic students funded by NR Narayan murthy sir (infosys) , they provide college bus facilities and have a large playground for sports which they believe it is necessary to maintain physical fitness.. various sports events and inter college matches are conducted and played every year.. different college groups for helping students to prepare for interviews and bring social awareness are present. All these facilities are provided in KLE but not as better as NIE.Over all NIE is better KLE in terms of all factors!

As per your rank in ComedK 2019 and considering you are a non-Karnataka resident, you cannot get a seat in any branch of NIE, Mysore. The CSE branch of NIE, Mysore closes around 2000 rank (for GM category). I would suggest you to try for other colleges under Comedk as per your branch preference. Good luck.

Firstly congratulations for securing a good rank. Cutoff for cse in NIE during 2018 was 2269 for general category . As you have 1751 which very well falls within the cutoff rank you have clear chances in getting a cse seat in NIE with or without snq quota. If you belong to any other category you have easy chance for getting cse NIE.  Having snq is favourable to you .so yes you wil get cse NIE with your rank and snq quota. Good luck!

NIE mysore happens to be one of the top 10 colleges in Karnataka and in order to get into NIE cse or ise branch, you should have your rank within 2k assuming that you belong to general category. As the cutoff for general category cse in 2018 was 2269 and for ise 3302. If you belong to reservation category then yes you wil get a cse or ise seat as it was around 22k cutoff rank in 2018. And if you belong to obc then you might get cse or ise in round 2 or round 3 based on your exact sub category as the cutoff in 2018 for obc was around 8k. Good luck!

Cutoff for every college which considers kcet exam is announced after the allotments. We can only have mere pridictions based on last year's cutoff.  During 2018 round 1 , cutoff of cse branch in NIE  (general merit ) was 2269, whereas for reservation category it goes up to 22k.

If you want good placements then your first preference should go to jss for both cse and ise. Though nie and JSS give a tough competition for the 1st place among the engineering colleges in mysore, jss is known to have more placement offers followed by NIE.  Also Both nie and JSS come within the top 10 colleges of mysore. So either cse or ise go for jss at first, then comes nie, later dayanand sagar, followed by SIT. Good luck!

Based on surveys and reviews, NIE mysore stands within the top 10 engineering colleges of karnataka whereas NMIT stands within top 15. So any main branch in top colleges will fetch you job.. I suggest you to take up IT branch in NIE for easy placements! If you want to persue in the main branches then go for cse in NMIT. Good luck!

Total Fee For Computer Science And Engineering [CSE] For Whole Course is Rs.76,360.

Total Fee For Information Science And Engineering [ISE] is same as [CSE] ,That Is Rs.76,360 For Whole Course.
