The National Institute of Engineering, Mysore
Hello Aspirant,
Hope you are doing well.
To get a free seat at The National Institute of Engineering, in Mysore, Karnataka or a 100% fee waiver, your KCET rank should be below 1000. So, yes if your rank is in the top 10 you could definitely be eligible for a full fee waiver.
Good Luck!
It is difficult to predicate that which institute is more better as both of them are prominent institutes. Mentioned below are the points of comparison:
Hello Deekshitha,
Based on previous year's cut-offs, it is difficult to get Computer Science Engineering branch or Electronics and Communication Engineering branch in JSS College and NIE Mysuru. So, you can try for seat in some other Colleges for your KCET rank as there is lot of deviation in the cut-off rank and your KCET rank. Cut-offs varies from year to year and depends on many factors like caste category, number of seats available, number of students appeared in the exam, difficulty level of the exam, etc.
To predict Colleges you can get for your KCET rank, use below mentioned College Predictor Tool which is designed by experts.

Hello aspirant!
Since you have not mentioned the name of any exam, I am assuming that you are referring to either KCET or COMEDK. Here I am providing the cut off for General merit category (at the end of round 2).
SJCE, Mysore cut-offs for CSE:
NIE, Mysore cut-offs for CSE:
So with your rank, it is difficult to get CSE in either of the two colleges. But no need to worry because there are several other colleges in which you will be able to secure a seat in CSE.
You can use the KCET and COMEDK college predictor tools linked below to know which colleges you might get into.

Hello,
NIE Mysore is better as compared to IIIT Una.
NIE Mysore is a very good institution since it offers a learning environment and teaching staff that you won't find in Bangalore. The greatest weather in India can be found in Mysore, which is also the cleanest city in the nation. People talk about the shits of exposure. However, the larger the city you reside in, the more it will serve as a distraction for you, regardless of how you choose to spend your assets! In the core mechanical branch, NIE is regarded as being the second-best college after NIT Surathkal. But this year, a CS student received the biggest prize, totaling 28 lakhs.
Thank You
BIT is the best option for CSE/ISE among these. After BIT, NIE Mysore and BMSIT. BIT offers better infrastructure, better faculty and facilities and best placement opportunities. Placement opportunities are also high in BIT with higher number of companies visiting here. B IT has tremendous placements among all of them. They also have a better quality education system followed by the placement opportunities.
The highest package offered in BIT for CSE/ISE is 1.33 Crore per annum and the average salary package offered is 10 LPA.
I hope this helps you,
All the best
BIT is the best option for CSE/ISE than NIE BMSIT. BI T also has better infrastructure, faculty, education system and also better placements. They also have a better quality education system followed by the placement opportunities. The number of companies visiting BIT is better in number as well as in opportunities. The placement opportunities in BIT are tremendous and the placement offers are more here as well.
BIT is the best option for CSE/ISE among the three f ollowed by MVIT and BMSIT. When it comes to BIT and MVIT, both are almost same but ig infrastructure matters to you then go for MVIT.
BIT has better placements among all of them. They also have a better quality education system followed by the placement opportunities. The number of companies visiting BIT is much more than the others. The placement opportunities in BIT are tremendous.
