Since you are a diploma holder, you can apply for the engineering colleges as a lateral entry student, so that you can get direct admission from 2nd year. you have a very good percentage in your diploma. There are high chances for you to get admission in top engineering colleges like TCE Madurai, KCT Coimbatore. Keep checking their college website for notification about lateral entry admission.

Hi,

Admission to the MCA course in Thiyagarajar College of Engineering is done based on the marks obtained in TANCET entrance examination conducted by Anna University. Students should have passed the bachelor's degree in 10+2+3 pattern with core mathematics at 10+2 school level or with mathematics/statistics as the subject at the degree level.

TANCET 2020 MCA Cut off depends on the number of candidates appearing for the examination and the minimum score consideration by various institutions. The scores obtained by candidates in TANCET 2020 decides the rank of the candidate.
