While admission into any any college , it is the ALL INDIA category rank which is taken into consideration for any admission process. Every college has different cutoff for different categories.

I am from OBC category and Rai Sikh as sub category but on filling my form to st. Xaviers college, Mumbai there is no such subcategory.

abhinav singh 31st May, 2019

Hi Kawaljeet,

If you do not find the subcategory you're looking for, then either you have to file only with OBC and no sub category or look for a subcategory in the given list and try to identify yours. Search, what sub category is written on your OBC certificate. If it is not in the list, then you will have to go only for OBC category and no subcategory privileges will be provided.

Wish you all the best.

My TWFS rank in MHT CET is 737 can I get CSE in SPIT college Mumbai ?

Aaa Student Expert 5th Jul, 2019

Hello,

Congratulations on securing 737 TFWS rank in MHTCET.

According to the last years' data, the general state merit no. cutoff for SPIT was 691 with 165 marks in MHTCET.

I would suggest you go through the last year cutoffs of the first round of CAP Process on the following link.

https://images.careers360.mobi/sites/default/files/MHT-CET-2018-Cap-Round1-Cutoff.pdf

https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/mht-cet-cutoff (For all rounds)

Make sure you look for proper cutoffs according to Quota (General-G, State-S, TFWS, etc), category (Open, OBC, SC, ST, etc) & also according to the university.

It would be easy if you go according to the marks obtained to look for cutoffs.

Best of Luck!
