Out of all the colleges that you have mentioned here , , Vardhman institute of medical sciences (VIMS) stands at the first position. Then comes the jawahar lal nehru medical college , bihar at the second position. And then the rest two ANMMCH and SKMCH share the same position .

It is mentioned nowhere that the total number of seats increased by the government will only be filled by EWS category. The procedure is actually division on the basis of percentage. After increasing, a fixed percentage of seat is alloted for EWS quota.

I'll suggest you to go for Shivamogga Institute of Medical Sciences rather than opting Hassan Institute of Medica Science. As SIMS have more experienced faculty as compared to HIMS and their labs are also well - equipped with modern machineries and gadgets.
