is malla reddy college of bsc agriculture hyderabad approved by ugc or not

Afifa 12th Oct, 2020

Hello aspirant,

No, Malla reddy college of agriculture Hyderabad is not approved by UGC but it is approved by AICTE (all India counsil for technical education).

Since bsc agriculture is a scientific, technical and business subject, it comes under AICTE accreditation. That's why it's not approved by UGC and AICTE instead.

Hope this information is clear

Thank you

Dear Sir/Madam, i completed my 12th from commerce stream in the year March 2019 nd also completing my BA. So my question is can i do once again 12th from Science stream(Bio)?? So as to be eligible for NEET exam. Can i?? IS IT LEGAL TO DO THAT ACCORDING TO UGC rules???

anirudha vats 5th Oct, 2020

Hey,

As far as your question is concerned I don't think so it is possible and in fact acceptable. You are already doing your graduation. So how can you just do your 12th studies again.

Students in CBSE board are allowed to appear for their improvement exam only in the consecutive year of their passing of 12 th exam. Think yourself how will you be able to go in decreasing order of your studies. Doesn't sound right.

Hope that solves your concern.

Thank you.

what if I am graduating in a university which is not recognised by UGC ,BUT I have done my PG from a IIT will there be any problem in my career

Shreya sharma 7th Nov, 2020

Hello,

If you're not graduating from a UGC recognized college, then, the main problem starts when you're going for Masters, as, most of the masters degree specify this in their eligibility criteria( that the candidate must be from a university recognized by UGC). So, if you manage to get your degree in masters, there would be considerably no such issues in your career.

However, i would suggest you to always take admission in a UGC Recognized college for better convenience.

Thankyou!

Some college AICTE approved and some UGC approved what does it mean ?

Shakti Swarupa Bhanja 26th Sep, 2020

Hi Rahul !

AICTE and UGC are the apex regulators in Indian education. They have indeed done a very good job of offering quality education to masses.

One of the main differences between AICTE and UGC, is that the former is exclusively formed for technical education.

While technical institutions are overlooked by the AICTE, the other universities and colleges fall under the UGC.

UGC approves universities in the country. It provides funds for affiliated universities and colleges. The AICTE is only a statutory body, which deals with co-ordinated development and proper planning of the technical education system in the country.

Another difference that can be seen is that the UGC is free to do whatever it likes, but AICTE is not free from the intervention of the Human Resources Development Ministry.

Hope this clears your doubt:)
