Hello Aspirant
Yes every state government EWS Certificate is considered in UGC Net. EWS certificate is the certificate for Economically Weaker Section of General Category. This certificate have a criteria that your annual income should be less then 8 lacs per annum. You should not hae big land area and properties. This certificate is not for SC/ST/OBC. So state does not matter for any of the exam in EWS category.
I hope your question has been answered properly.
All the best!
Hi,
First of all congratulations for qualifying the UGC NET JRF exam. If you have applied through EWS category then for the qualifying certificate you are required to give the EWS certificate. JRF stipend is provided only after you enroll for the Ph.D course.
Hope this helps.
There are no cutoff marks for a particular subject in NEET examinations. You just need to pass the overall cutoff score out of 720 to get eligible for applying into various medical courses. The neet 2019 eligibility cutoff was 134 marks for the general category and 107 marks for the reserved category.
Thank you.
UGC NET is conducted for two papers for total marks of 300. Paper 1 having 100 marks and paper 2 having 200 marks. 99.8 percentile means that 99.8 percent people have scored less than you. Based on previous year data, 99.8 percentile means you may have the score around 195 to 205 out of 300. We can't predict the exact marks as it depends on various factors like no. Of candidates appeared, highest score obtained etc.
Hii Nasrin
Since you have done MA in Political Science, you can appear for UGC EXAM but you won't be able appear for UGX NET EXAM. If you have cleared the NET, National Eligibility Test then you can appear for this exam. This course needs NET cleared before to go ahead with this course. If you have cleared SET OR JRF then you don't need to go for NET Exam but if not then first you will have to clear NET to appear for this exam.
Hope this answer helps.
UGC NET Exam is conducted for almost all subjects of every stream while CSIR NET exam is organized only for the science stream subjects. This is the major difference between both exams. CSIR NET Exam has only one paper of 3 hours while UGC NET has two papers with the time duration of 3 hours.

Hello,
Yes, while filling the form there is an option to specify for the EWS category. You are not required to upload it but have to specify it while filling the form. Remember, you will need the certificate during the time of verification.
