what subjects should be included to calculate best of four percentage for science stream with PCB with English and Hindi as a language???

Muskaan 12th May, 2019

For calculating the best of four you need to include

  • One language (Core/Elective/Functional)
  • One subject in which you seek admission- otherwise there will be a disadvantage of 2.5%
  • The other two academic/elective subjects

My best of four percentage is 97% excluding English and 95% including English. Which one will be considered in DU cut off?

Muskaan 12th May, 2019

Hi Abhipsa,

For calculating the best of four, it is compulsory to include one language (Core/Elective/Functional). Hence, while considering your best of four 95 per cent will be considered as it includes English.

Hope this helps. Do comment any query in the section below.

Muskaan 12th May, 2019
Hi aspirant,
While applying for any course, only the best of four is considered. But there are certain guidelines as to how your nest of four should be calculated. The best of four should include one language, the subject you want admission in ( in your case which is Sociology)
