Dear Sir, I have passed my 2nd PUC in the year 2020. Can I take up the CET in 2021. I am not able to register giving my student number starting from 2019. Kindly help. Regards

suchayitaanusaha 1st Jul, 2021

Hello,

CET is common entrance test. Every State organised their own entrance examination for admission in engineering, paramedical, Pharmacy, Architecture and agriculture colleges. Like for Maharashtra MHTCET examination, for Karnataka KCET examination,  for Telengana TS EAMCET examination etc. So every state have different eligibility criteria for entrance examination but almost criteria same.

You didn't mention above that which CET examination you want to give. Because you have to match the criteria then you are eligible for giving the examination. And 2nd puc or 12th passed students can appear for this examination. You can mention the state name then it will be more easy for us provide you perfect guidelines.

All the best.

What should be the basis of selecting Medical Colleges, for filling up the forms? Which are the best Medical colleges?

Niranjana 29th Jun, 2021

Hello,

The choice of a reputable medical college is critical in the development of a future medical practitioner. A excellent medical school aids in your overall growth. It will teach you both academic and practical aspects of your field. Students at good institutions are also given vocational training that will benefit them in the future.

Before applying to a medical school of your choosing, there are a few things to keep in mind. These considerations can assist you in selecting a better institution for yourself.

  • Ranking of the institute by NIRF
  • Recognition by Medical Council of India
  • Eligibility for admission
  • Do not choose a medical college only on the basis of its fee structure: You should not choose a college just on the basis of its fee structure. Many students opt to attend a specific medical institution only because of its affordable price. This choice might backfire.Rather, choose a medical college based on the facilities it offers, its reputation in the field of medical education, and the chances it will give to help you achieve your goals, even if they come at a little greater cost.
  • Medical College Accreditation and Affiliation: Before enrolling in any medical college, be sure that it is accredited and affiliated with the Medical Council of India. You should also be familiar with the medical college's affiliation before enrolling.Their tuition structure and other characteristics are determined by their affiliation with various types of universities, such as private medical institutions like Rajasthan University of Health Science or government medical universities univ. Medical schools connected with universities that have received an A or A+ rating from NAAC should be favoured. There are also several well-known independent medical colleges, such as AIIMS.
  • Medical Training: Some schools provide vocational and medical training to its students, as well as seminars on various medical issues led by well-known physicians, which will aid them in their selection for positions in our country's best hospitals. Make an effort to enrol in a college that offers this sort of education.
  • Do Not Make a Hasty Decision: There is no need to rush this process of selecting the greatest medical institution because your entire future will be dependent on it. So, when looking for the greatest medical college for yourself, you must exercise extreme caution and address all of your ifs and buts. Begin ahead of schedule so that you have ample time to choose the finest medical school.
  • Choose the Greatest One from Your List: It's conceivable that you'll be eligible for admission to more than one college; now you have to choose one, and it has to be the finest one for you, so think about it, get some further information, ask your seniors or siblings for advice, and pick the best one.
  • Shortlist the Medical Colleges
  • Check the Admission Criteria of Medical Colleges
  • Consider all the Medical Colleges
  • Find the Cut-off List and Apply
  1. All India Institute of Medical Sciences
  2. Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research
  3. Christian Medical College
  4. Sanjay Gandhi Postgraduate Institute of Medical Sciences
  5. Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences and Research
  6. Banaras Hindu University
  7. Kasturba Medical College
  8. Jawaharlal Institute of Post Graduate Medical Education and Research

Im student of kvs Uttar pradesh and appearing 12 and pass from Up state .But I live in Delhi And I dont Up state domicile so for which state I will be able to apply for State quota in neet

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 16th May, 2021

Hi

In order to answer your question let's first see the state quota eligibility of both UP and Delhi.

DELHI

In order to be eligible for the Delhi state quota seats, you need to have passed your class 12 from any school located in Delhi- NCR, affiliated to boards :-CBSE, ICSE or JMI.

As you are appearing for your 12 th from UP so you are not eligible for Delhi state quota.

UP

You need to fulfil any one of the following in order to be domicile of UP and thus be eligible for UP state quota :-

  • You must be native of UP and your father should be a Resident of the state of UP.

  • Your  parent/s should have lived UP for at least  3 years.

  • Your parent/s should be working with the Government of India.

  • If you have passed your 10th and 12th from the state of UP, then you don't need to furnish domicile certificate and you will be eligible for UP state quota

  • If you have have passed either your 10th or 12th UP, then you need to furnish UP residence proof of your parent/s in order to be eligible for UP state quota

So, if you satisy anyone of the above points then you will be eligible for UP state quota

For example,

If you pass both 10th and 12th from UP then you are eligible for UP state quota without any domicile certificate.

For more about domicile state , check out our page at
