Dear Student,
as per the cutoff of last year the the corresponding rank for your above mentioned marks is somewhere around 20000. But keeping this as a reminder the cutoff for every year changes based on various different reasons. For your above mentioned marks your chances for getting Mechanical Engineering branch in BIET is a little slim, however you can definitely try for other colleges in your state.

Hi,
According to last years' statistics the cut-off for CSJMU, Kanpur
For Btech Electronics and communication engineering branch for UPSEE for Round 1 was 18066 and Round 4 was 19565.
For Btech nformation Technology engineering branch for UPSEE for Round 1 was 9692 and Round 4 was 11353.
Therefore, i think it is difficult for you to get admission in CJMU,Kanpur. I suggest you should also try for other colleges like -
Saroj Institute of Technology and Management, Lucknow
Raj Kumar Goel Institute of Technology, Ghaziabad
Anand Engineering College, Agra
ABES Institute of Technology, Ghaziabad
Shri Ramswaroop Memorial Group of Professional Colleges, Lucknow
Indus Institute of Technology and Management, Kanpur

Hi Priyanshu,
As per your rank and previous year cutoff, the branches you get in University Institute of Engineering and Technology, CSJM University, Kanpur are:-
B.Tech. in Material Science and Metallurgical Engineering
B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering
B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering
To know more about your chances of getting other colleges check out the college predictor link below:
Hi Priyanshu, you have predicted 224 marks so most probably your rank ranges between 45k-55k. ok!
Now I want to clear that you can get admission in UIET but the problem you will surely face is on branch selection. At this rank you may or may not get CSE and IT branch but as you have OBC quota so may be you can get CE, ME, Metallurgical etc. I'm mentioning below the previous year cut off for OBC category just have a look over it;

Hey jatin,
Based on your marks your rank would somewhere range around 7051-16000.Also, seeing the cutoffs of previous year of jss you can get seat in some branches like electrical and electronics engineering, mechanical engineering, civil engineering, electrical engineering if you belong from general category now if you belong from reserved category then you may get these branches along with ECE. You won't get seat in CSE and it.
