Yes you can register of the Round 2 of UPSEE 2021 Counselling. The authorities have postponed UPSEE BTech counselling from round 2 onwards. The new UPCET BTech counselling dates from round 2 onwards will be announced later. Keep an eye on the official website for the latest information. The officials have not yet declared the dates.  The UPCET BTech round 1 seat allotment was released on October 8. It is expected that the officials will soon release the schedule for counselling. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) will release the UPSEE 2021 counselling schedule on its official website.

Tution Fee Waver is a scheme or a scholarship which has been implemented by the government for all the meritorious and economically backward students to get admission in universities. It is provided to those whose annual family income is less than two lakh fifty thousand (2,50,000) and they must have income certificate for the same.

To answer your question, you will not have to pay any tution fee. The only fee you have to pay is of mess and hostel. Please mention your university/college for further information regarding hostel and mess fee.

If you choose to float the seat allotted in round 1 you do not have to pay the seat acceptance fee if you have already paid in round 1. If you can seat in round 2 you can either freeze/float the seat allotted. You have a provision to withdraw the amount and get a refund of Rs. 15000 further you will not be eligible to participate in upcoming rounds. But if you freeze the seat the seat acceptance amount will be transferred/adjusted to/with the allotted Institute.

If you get higher preference in the UPSEE counselling 2nd round, then the round 1 seat will automatically get CANCELLED. This rule represents that as you have put the round 2 college higher in the list, its your more desirable and dream college as compared to the round 1 college and your round 1 college seat is thus then cancelled. However, you dont need to pay the seat acceptance fee again as it would be adjusted and transferred to your later allotted college.
