Hello Ushamadhavi,
First of all congratulations! you have scored a decent rank. As per the rank which you have mentioned,you.. can easily get a seat in VR siddhartha engineering college (VRSEC). You have the chances to get any of the branches like EEE,IT,MEC, CIVIL,EIE but for ECE you have try until second or third round. The closing rank for CSE has been around 6,500 and so.. it's a bit difficult to get a seat in CSE.

Hello sivakatakam,
First of all, we thank you for raising your queries to careers 360. As per the allotment of seats in the previous years, the cutoff ranks for CIVIL at VRsiddhartha was around to 1500. So, sorry to inform you that the chances for getting a seat with your rank may be difficult for a OC Candidate.

Campare rvrjc and vr sidhardha collage

Hello aspirant,
As you have asked about the pros and cons of vr siddhartha and rvrjc...
Comparitively both the colleges are equally good, in terms of placements infrastructure, teaching facilitates, experienced staff, technical support etc..
But when we compare the other facilities like, transportation and hostel facilitates..

As rvrjc is located in the city outskirts of guntur, it takes you more time for travelling up to the college.
Where as vrsec has enough Transport facilities, as it can be easily travelled by general busses.
Rvr has the advantage of hostel facilities for both boys and girls.
In vr we have hostel facility only for girls, and boys have to stay in rooms, which we have in large number around our college. So, that wouldn't be a much problem.

Finally, both the colleges are equally good and so you can choose as per your convenience.

Hello,

First of all hearty congratulations for getting such a good rank in ecet. Secondly, yes according to previous year cut off's you surely have chances of getting into the college as closing rank for computer science engineering was 6249, for ECE 7167, for EEE 19213, for MEC 15063. However like any other entrance exam, the cut off will depend on the difficulty level of the question paper, number of seats available in the college, and the performance of other applicants.

Since you have applied and waited till 3rd counselling, your college/course alloted in 1st and 2nd rounds of counselling will be withdrawn. You can get those seats back.
