Prakarsh Kaushik 18th Mar, 2020

Hello,

No, VIT Vellore conducts its own examination called VITEEE to offer admission into its various Undergraduate programs. VIT Vellore doesn't take admission through JEE Mains. You need to appear for VITEEE and admissions are based on merit of VITEEE .

iit,mit,nit,vit in highest backage salary

Yastika Kumar 18th Mar, 2020

Hi there,

Anyone can provide you a college's highest, average and lowest package but not guarantee where your package will lie as it depends on various factors; your preparedness, questions in exam, your interviewer and interview. So instead of this focus on improving your skills.

do we need to get 60% of aggregate in pcm or 60+ in each subject of pcm for eligibility criteria in(VIT)

Saloni 18th Mar, 2020

hello,

60 % aggregate in PCM means the combined marks in physics, chemistry and maths. ... Suppose, out of 100, you got 58 in physics, 93 in chemistry and 89 in maths. Then your average marks will be (58+93+89)/3 = 80. So, even though, you did not get above 60 in each subject , you will be eligible for taking admission in VIT .

hope this helps!

i have 97.56 percentile in jee mains can i get cse in top 10 nits or is vit velllore a better choics for cse over the nits that i am getting pls help

Harsha Sinha 18th Mar, 2020

Hi there,

Well first of all congratulations on your achievement. Nice job. Now according to your percentile you may get Cse in top 10 NITs but you may have to wait till the 6th-7th round of the counselling. It also depend on your category if you come in reserved category then you may get it earlier.

See comparing VIT with any NIT, at vit you have to pay more fees as compared to Nits and if I tell about placement then there is no big difference both have good placements but according to me Your first priority should be any NIT. I wish you that you get the best college for you. All the best.

I hope this help,

Regards, Harsha Sinha

Hi, My Gate ECE score is 519 and I belong to OBC category, had 79.5% in BTech. What are my chances with this score in any IIT, NIT, IIIT in ECE specialisations for a job in core companies. How good is BITS, VIT and Amrita considering Mtech ECE placements and what are the fees for each? Thanks Yadu

Rishu Gupta 17th Mar, 2020

I have 97.56 percentile and I only want cse what are the best options in nit and iiit which I can get, or should I choose vit vellore over them for cse, plz tell will vit vellore be worth it

Manidipa Kundu Student Expert 16th Mar, 2020

hi,

jee main cutoff is various institutes changes over time to time, depends on questions difficulty level, students category, seat matrix etc. see jee main april session exam is yet to held and it will have effects on your current percentile if number of applicants increased this time. however I would put vit vellore ahead than north east nits, in terms of placement  and infrastructure, internship opportunities.

Hi Harshal,

The slot booking for VIT will commence from the third week of March. Recently they had extended the last date for Application submission to 22nd March so you may expect some delay in this as well.

I have taken a drop. Will it affect my admission process at VIT?

Check the eligibility first in terms of date of birth and pass percentage. You are eligible if you meet these criteria.

i have 97.56 percentile meaning rank around 25000 , should i get a good nit with lower branch or a lower nit with good branch or should i get cse in vit vellore , and is it worth it pls help

Sumit_1492180752 Student Expert 16th Mar, 2020

Hey there

First every branch in engineering has its own prefrence, you should choose the brach which best suits you and the one which you think you can do for your living.

Choosing a branch which is not of your interest would lead to taking it as a burden and ultimately it would not mean anything.

You can also get good GPA in first year and get miration to different branch.

Hope it helps.

sir/mam ncc is available in VIT for engineering girks students or not plzz tell me quickly

Shaurya Kapoor 16th Mar, 2020

It will basically depend upon the score and rank which you have availed. If they have the seat available you can go ahead and apply for the same but for this information you have to contact the college authorities for providing you with this information.
