Both of them are private technical Institutes with good reputation. Coming to their infrastructure, both of them are great in that aspect. Coming to the placements, the average package for IT department goes to 7.08 LPA and in VIT it goes around 7.5 LPA. So there is not much difference in both the institutes. So there is not much difference between them. To clear your head from any doubts see how much additional expenses will be there apart from college fees and hostel charges.

No nobody can get admission in VIT Vellore in any of the branch in any of the course through JEE. VIT conducts its own exam VITEEE. Through this exam the student can get admission in VIT Vellore. Student need to give this exam and pass the examination then the student is selected for admission.

The total tuition fees for BBA course is 55000 per annum, the caution deposit will be 2000 which has to be given once, therefore total fees deposited in first year 57000. There are different prices for different type of rooms 2bedded , 3 bedded or 4 bedded with AC or non AC rooms for which you can go to the link given below.

Yes, B.tech offered by  Vellore Institute of technology in IT is a good fit for students who want to pursue a career in IT. VIT Vellore is one of the best private institution for B.tech in Computer Science. Admissions are done on the basis of merit in VITEEE. Average Placement for B.tech CSE branch is 5 Lakhs and it  goes upto 18-24 lakhs. Academics is industry friendly. Overall you can choose VIT Vellore with closed eyes for B.tech CSE. Jain University is also good but is no match for VIT Vellore.

The medium or even the average salary at which students get placed is not mentioned on their website. Though a pool of companies visit the campus to offer various roles. Companies ranging from tech giants such as Infosys, Tech mahindra, Wipro etc to companies like Ford and many more offer roles to the students.
