Veterinary Science
There are very limited colleges for BVsc in Karnataka and hence there is no specified cut off for these colleges you can try for the mentioned colleges and check the cut off
There is no proper cut off students are selected on the merit basis.
There is no specific cutoff for veterinary college, the admissions are based on merit wise rank list which is different every year.
But even in the worst scenario, the cutoff should not exceed more than 360 ie 50%.The reason behind low cut off is quite clear that almost all of the students who appeared want to join Mbbs course, so the demand of veterinary is not that high.Karnataka Common Entrance Exam ( Karnataka CET) conduct own entrance test (Karnataka CET Exam) every year for admission to Medical, Dental and Engineering Courses in Professional Colleges within the State of Karnataka. Non-Karnataka students (students not eligible to be considered in the Karnataka quota) cannot appear for the CET. They can only appear for the COMEDK examination. The Karnataka CET will be conducted in the month of May every year. The score will be valid for 1 year only
The minimum score is called as Karnataka CET Cutoff Marks. The candidates who score above this cutoff will be included in the merit list.
General: 50%
General OPH: 45%
Karnataka CET Cutoff for OBC/SC/ST: 40%
The candidates have to score at least the above specified marks to be included in the merit list.
Hello Mahesh,
With the rank you have mentioned it is a bit difficult to get a veterinary seat. The window of ranking getting seats through KCET for ST reservation students would be within 12k. I would suggest you to broaden your options and keep them open.
All the best
Hello Mashesh,
Veterinary colleges would demand rankings better than what you have mentioned Although you have the reservations, a ranking within 8k would be a safer rank to get admitted in a veterinary college of the state.
Greetings Student, well according to the 2018 cutoff the seats for veterinary science for unreserved category depends on the state of domicile as well as the choice of college,
The last year cutoff for unreserved i.e the general category was 360 i.e 50% and well 50% should be last and worst case .
The cutoff for different categories are
General:50%
General OPH:45%
OBC:40%
So to get to the merit list try that you are atleast above the given percentage.
Hello Aishwarya,
Considering the small number of government veterinary college in India, it would be tough to get admissions in them with 3000+ rank. However you can try some of the private and trust-aided colleges if you want to pursue veterinary science as the fees for Aided colleges is also very less. Hope this helps!
Hello Bhavana,
Is this your NEET Marks? Veterinary 15% quota seats admission is through AIPVT Counselling on the basis of NEET UG score & rest of seats admission in veterinary colleges is through state level Entrance Exam. This criteria can varies state to state.
It would be difficult to tell you about the admission possibilities but you can take an Idea with the previous year NEET rank of second & Final round seat Allotment for Veterinary programme 15% quota seats.

Hi Rajshekar,
I am here to help you out. With 36000 AIR rank, it is very difficult to get a seat in VEterinary because there are very fewer seats available i.e 15% in all India quota. Based on last year seat allocation the OBC students who got rank around 33000 got seat final round. So based on this you have very fewer chances to get a seat.
But cutoffs vary from year to year so don't lose hopes.
All the best.
Thank you.
