VITMEE is an entrance exam to get entry to VIT colleges all over the nation.

If you had given GATE, you still have to attend the VITMEE exam for getting admission in these colleges.

With this rank, your chance of getting MTech CSE in the Vellore campus is very less. Since the closing rank will be close to 1000 for both of these categories.

you may get Mtech in mechanical branch but the category may differ like in second category.Every year VIT set the cutoff depending upon the average performance of the student and mostly till 1000 ranks get the first chance with good branches.You will surely get in chennai campus if you miss vellore campus anyhow.I hope it helped

There is no category based system in VITMEE as far as I know. Your rank is 386 which is quite good and with this you can get any branch of your choice which being cad/can in your case . You can get it in VIT vellore which is the main campus and is one of the best colleges in India. So I would suggest that you keep a check on start of counselling and fill your choices accordingly.  I wish you luck.

Hello aspirant! Let me to inform you that with this rank of 807 in VITMEE, it seems quite difficult to get a seat under category 1 in VIT. Based on previous years there are little probability tHat you might get Civil under category 1 but not the other branches. You can definitely get a seat under category 2. There is a difference of fee between two categories. Category 2 is expensive than 1.

hello chaithanya. if you are asking question regarding b.tech in electrical and electronics engineering then definitely you will get in vellore institute of technology,vellore and you will be eligible for group 1 a or b category scholarships, which gives you an opportunity to pay just 1.5 lac per annum as tuition fees. all the best.

Hello aspirant!  The fees in VITMEE depends upon under which category you are getting a seat. The category 1 seats are cheap. And the category 2 seats are expensive and so on . Now with rank 113 you can definitely get a seat in category 1. But with rank of 2036 you can get seat under category 2 or  3. For 113 you are almost open for all the courses.

Hello aspirant!  Let me tell you that with a rank of 1478 in VITMEE examinations 2019,  you are not going to get a seat in construction technology and management under Category 1. While the cut-offs for seats this year is not out yet, previous years trends show that seats for MCA in the Vellore and Chennai campus usually close out in ranks under 500. Unfortunately your rank is not good enough for these campuses, however, you may be able to secure a seat at the Bhopal campus if you are interested in taking admission there.
