if Ill do three years of work in the field of tally and then apply for acca membership then it would be sufficient and counted as my work experience when I have completed all papers of ACCA

ginnisachdeva02_9364270 Student Expert 23rd Jun, 2021

Hi Aspirant!

The trainees of ACCA work in every sector/organization. As per the ACCA gaining experience eligibility, wherever the candidate work it is important for him/her to look for the opportunities to help them meet their PER and to obtain the 36 months (3 years) experience in a relevant role. In a nutshell, candidate must find/do a job where his/her time is spent on activities and tasks related to accounting, finance, audit and assurance, or in other related technical areas such as taxation, insolvency, and forensic accounting.

And a syou mentioned that you will be doing work in the field of tally and as it is very much related to the finance and accounting, so yes, it will be considered as work experience.

Thankyou!

Hello Aspirant,

See it is quite difficult to predict your chances from any particular IIM because you don't have your CAT percentile but yes as per the analysis of current data with the academic record which you have mentioned in the question you should have at least 99+ percentile in CAT for top IIMs such as IIM A/B/C/L and for average IIMs 96+ percentile would also work.

Let me make you more clear with the admission criteria of IIMs by taking an example of top most IIM i.e. IIM Ahmedabad :-

Admission process for IIM A is a two step process. First step is for preliminary screening on the basis of Sectional cut-offs and overall cut-offs along with different rating points for IIM A which are described in the tables below and you need to clear sectional cut-off as well as Overall cut-off :-

CAN 2 OR MORE YEARS OF FREELANCING COUNTED AS WORK EXPERIENCE IN MBA?

anirudha vats 21st May, 2021

Hey,

It surely does. Most of the people do freelancing as their full time work. For the people they add this freelancing thing in their CV in order to avoid any gap in their career.

So yes you can mention that in your work experience and you need to explain this at the time of your interview with the panelist. If they get satisfied then I don't think there will be any problem .

Hope that helps.

Thank you

I got 87 % in Tenth ; 63% in XII ; 58% in BA (Arts) and 12 years work experience in defence. How much should I score in CAT to get call from IIMs.

aditya 16th May, 2021

Hello Rahul Kumar singh

I hope you are doing good .

I would like to tell you that your academic  profile is good as you have 12 years of work experience but age criteria is also important factor and type of work you did. Your marks in 12th and  graudation are not very good so you need to get atleast above 95percentile to get a call from baby IIMs like iim ranchi and shillong

Hope you found this answer helpful. Good luck for your future

is work experience necessary to get job after MBA based on current competitive scenario? which is best BBA then MBA or integrated MBA? and from which college in India?

Sohamsengupta8 24th Jun, 2021
Hello STudent

To prosper in life future life Candidate should have experience in any field of education courses they have been appeared for in the past. So for MBA degree holder can also plus per whether their vendor experience will be much less salary will be more. Current competitive scenario candidates who have employers have experience in the field of administration through MBA degrees camp make his future bright easily.

IIM Rohtak, IIM Indore, Xavier University, Kolkata and Bhubaneswar, has the integrated MBA courses reshapes time and money in a short period of time candidates can I check the degree with full experience on the method of learning of MBA. Narsee monjee Management studies Navi Mumbai has BBA + MMS master of Management studies courses feature is similar to integrated MBA course. In integrated course saves time time and money and prepare a student for competitive job markets well. According to the job market integrated MBA is the best course.

hay while iim -b gives you a score based on work experience of upto 8 does it consider paid part time job also during under graduate studies

ginnisachdeva02_9364270 Student Expert 14th May, 2021

Hi Abhishek!

IIMs has not revealed any work experience criteria required for getting admission in MBA. Yeah, but surely students who have work experience get some extra weightage during personal interview round (PI) over those who do not have any work experience. But it is not madatory to have any work experience. Also, only full time jobs are considered as work experience. And you can always show your achievements, part time work (which you did) to add some extra brownie points to impress the management.

Hope I answered your query, thankyou!
