hi,
see its really good to know that you have certain years of job experience. most of the cases companies hires btech pass candidates for design engineer role. but there is always advantage for those candidates who have real work experience. I suggest you to make profile in LinkedIn, naukri and times job to get relevant job alert.
Dear Aspirant,
Let's look at the three Job profiles.
1) Junior Engineer at the Railways
There are a lot of hierarchies to the work of a Junior engineer in the Railways. For instance, there is the inspector of works who looks at the construction and the maintenance of the Railways. The pay scale is Rs. 9300 to Rs. 34800 for this job. Once, you become permanent, you will have to take care of the tracks for the best movement of the trains and also will have to supervise a team of workers. They have to inspect the track. This is for Civil Engineers. I don't know the specific branch you have been selected for but apart from the roles and responsibilities which depend on the discipline, the salary and promotions are similar if not the same.
2) PO in Rural Bank
Your job here will be to take care of small businesses and the money of the people of the village. So you will have to handle the cash, passbooks, will have to open new accounts from time to time, issue DD or cheque and process cheques as well. You would also have to take care of the locker system and battle queries regarding the loan. The salary is roughly around Rs. 40000 depending on the basics and deductions and the perks.
3) FCI AG3 Depot
The work will require you to assist the people who are your superiors in the godowns where the food is stored. You will have to maintain a register for the same and should be good with handling money and receipts. Here also you will be supervising quite a lot of work including the dispatch of mass. The gross salary is around Rs. 20000. There is a lot of corruption in this field and also a lot of red-tapisms.
Based on these profiles and the salaries, you can choose the one you like the best.
Hope this helps. All the best!
Hi Kowshik,
Hope you are doing great. There are some colleges which accepts NMAT score of 164 like IBS Hyderabad. With the academic profile and work experience, you have pretty good chances of getting selected in IBS Hyderabad. Other colleges like Athena School of Management Studies are also worth getting MBA/PGDM from.
Hope you make the right decision.
All the best.
Thank-you !
Hello saurav,
To pursue M.TECH in colleges of India , you can opt two ways-
1) GATE Examination
2) Admission in private college
But by considering your CGPA , you are not eligible to give gate exam because their minimum eligibility criteria is 6.5 CGPA .
So ,in India private college seems to be an option for you.
Now In case of studying abroad there are certain criteria you need to fulfill:
1) An obligatory language test like IELTS ,TOEFL etc are required.
2) Most importantly an admission test that is GRE has to be given by the candidate .
GRE is a 340 marks test ,out of which 325+ scores are considered very good scores.
After clearing GRE with good scores you need to select University then all the official formalities are required to fulfill.
Hope this helps and wish you all the best.
