Anyone please tell me in details that what would be my better preplan to get a officially hostel room in jadavpur university?

If you are a fresher then you can fillup the form at the same time of your admission.Now the criterias are-

Your family income

Distance from your home town

And interview

Considering first two points the forms of the student will be shorted by the dean of students and the hostel mess committee. Next interview. Then if you are selected you will get the permanent boardership for the time duration of your degree course.

Now if you don't get the hostel boardership in the first round, you can apply in the next slot after just one month. Actually there are four slots.
