Are DU cut-offs based on four subjects or five subjects of the respective stream of CBSE Board? For example, to apply for B.A. (Hons.) ECO.

Apropos, if you don't mind; as I'm craving to get myself apprised regarding it but unable to get any satisfactory answer; which is, apart from BFS [Eng, Eco, BST & Maths - in my case for Eco B.A. (Hons.)], for the sake of my AISSCE %, can Physical Education marks replace that of my Accountancy (low marks, not failed: please note!) as my fifth subject n' hence, making Accountancy (let's assume, a score of 70) the sixth subject in this case?

Physical Education's marks is 99. Accountancy's marks is 70.

If you add Physical Education in your best four then 2.5% will be deducted from your aggregate percentage (best three + Physical Education).

Precisely, Priyanka. I am but afraid that my enquiry is a bit unclear to you. Pardon my French, I am not asking what you meant. Obviously, you did enlighten me to my first enquiry. On the other facet, what I asked (in my comment) the second time, is that "WHETHER PHY. ED. MARKS (say, 99) COULD REPLACE THAT OF MY ACCOUNTANCY, MAKING THE FORMER AND LATTER, 5TH & 6TH SUBJECTS RESPECTIVELY?" Here, one's Accountancy's marks is low (so, let's say 70: not 'failed') which could take a bust in AISSCE PERCENTAGE CALCULATION on the basis of 5 subjects.
I don't please to include Physical Education marks, shall I assert it clear, in my BEST OF FOUR SUBJECTS. My BFS would be: English (one language), Economics (the selected discipline), Mathematics (I do want to include it in my BFS) & Business Studies (I reckon BST is in the LIST A of 'Academic Subjects').
