Are there any other changes in the exam pattern of UGC NET for the upcoming season?

There has been no change in the exam pattern of UGC NET. As per the UGC NET exam pattern, the exam has two papers and it is compulsory for candidates to appear in both the papers. The UGC NET Exam has done some changes in last few months. As the National Eligiblity Test is conduted for the aspirants want to make career in the lectureship and Research program was previously conduted by CBSE but now it would be conduted by NTA (National Testing Agency). The NTA is a helping body that would work under UGC to conduct the NET Exam systematically

Also, the National Eligibiltiy Test was prevoulsy conducted in three phases but it would be conduted in two phases - UGC NET Paper 1 and Paper 2. The UGC NET Paper 1 is the General Aptitude test whereas the Paper 2 is subject based

Also, for UGC NET Paper 1

Total no of questions - 50

Total marks - 100

Time - 60 minutes

UGC NET Paper 2 -

Total no of Questions - 100

Total Marks - 200

Time duration - 120 minutes

There is no negative marking in the UGC NET Exam

Paper 1 will have 50 compulsory questions and paper2 will have 100 compulsory questions a spe rnew pattern 2018.

Total 300 marks and 2 hour to complete.
