Hello Binu,

Based on the rank it is difficult to get in top IIT branches . However you may try attending the counselling and see if you may get into new IITs (chances are however very low still), to get the old top ranked ones ,is really difficult . The cutoffs also differ with the course, top branches like CSE,EEE,ECE,Mech etc need a higher rank. Your home state also matters, it may help if you are in luck. Cutoffs depends on the number of seats available and the number of people competing for it .
