Always, the All India rank ( AIR ) is considered at the time of counselling ( i.e.., seat allotment). Category rank also comes into picture indirectly but later on, but when a category student has a very good rank that he is able to get a seat in general category, then AIR is considered. However, after these EWS, OBC, SC and ST admissions will get filled up and finally female candidates are alloted seats based oj their ranks.
