best four in science stream... pls explain how will calculate

Hi
English is the compulsory subject, you have to consider the marks of English. Then look for the most highest marks you have got in rest of the 3 subjects and consider them. Add them togather and calculate the percentage.
For example
If someone gets 90 in biology, 85 in chemistry, 96 in physics and 84 in maths, then physics chemistry and biology marks will be considered as this 3 have the highest marks along with English, making it the marks of best of 4 subjects. In this case it should be 90+90+85+96=361( considering 90 in English)
361/400( total of 4 subjects) *100= 90.25%
