In order to take admission in BIT Mesra you need to appear for JEE Main exam.
For NRI/PIO/SFFS it will be through marks obtained by the candidates in Class 12 / equivalent qualifying examination

To prepare for JEE Main you should start your preparation from NCERT books as it will help you to make your concepts strong.
Apart, from NCERT books you can refer to HC Verma for Physics, OP Tandon for Chemistry and RD Sharma for Mathematics.
It is recommended that you should also refer to previous year papers to understand the exam pattern and to to know the level of the exam.
