can a bsc student is eligible for btech in iit?
Nope! A BSc student can pursue MSc or MSc-MTech or MSc-PhD from the IIT's but the student can take admission in BTech as you won't be eligible for the JEE ADVANCED Examination. There are two attempts you can give for JEE ADVANCED i.e., on the year of attempting the boards and the next year of boards. As you have completed BSc then you have already covered 3 years after your BSc. SO you can't admission in IIT. But if you wish to do BTech then you can do it by Lateral entry examinations and on qualifying you can get admission in BTech state government/private college.

hi,
see iits has no admission option for lateral entry students. so you have to appear in jee main exam and later appear in jee advance test to admission in iits for b.tech course. students who has achieved the required cutoff score in jee main exam are only eligible to apply for jee advance test.
students who has completed 12th course in 2019 or later are eligible for participating in jee main 2021 exam. or candidates completed diploma course of three years duration are eligible to apply.
jee main exam can only attempted three times consecutively starting from the year of passing of 12th course. jee advance test can be attempted two times consecutively starting from year of passing of 12th course.
