Can a delhi student apply for state quota in some other state? For neet councelling

There are two types of counselling done for filling the mbbs seats in all medical colleges in India that are all India quota counselling-15% and state quota counselling-85%.

Firstly the all India quota counselling is held and with it 15% of all the seats in each state are filled with it.

Then state quota counselling tooks and fill the remaining 85% seats.

By appling for all India quota seats you are appling for a seat in all the state which you will get according to your rank in all india only.

Then by appling for state quota counselling you will get a seat according to your rank in your state. Hope this will help you to clear the confusion.

Dear Anshul, first off, if you belong to Delhi, you are not eligible to apply for other State  colleges under 85% State Quota. You can only apply for 15% All India Quota of all other States except for Jammu and Kashmir. This is because Jammu and Kashmir doesnt participate in All India Counseling. And a candidate of any State cannot apply for All India Quota of the same State that he/she holds domicile of and also cannot apply for State Quota of other States.
