I would like to tell you that Yes a person doing bachelors from a private college is eligible for Msc in IIT. what you need to do is appear for the GATE entrance exam once you are done with your NDERGRADUATION. If you clear the exam then you are eligible.

Yes any student with graduation result of aggregate 55% is eligible for MSc at IITs.
You need to give JAM exam inorder to get admission in IITs for Msc.

Candidates from any nation can apply for JAM Exam and there is no age limit to appear in the exam. Candidates should have minimum55% aggregate marks in graduation if belongs to General or OBC-NCL category or if they are from SC/ST/PwD category then they should have minimum50% marks in graduation without rounding-off.
