Can i become a professor after studying bcom +UGC Net?????

If you want to become a professor then you should have masters' degree to appear for UGC NET. With B.Com. you can't apply for the NET exam.

Before appearing for the exam must check out the eligibility criteria.

Candidates who are willing to appear in UGC NET should be well aware with the eligibilities for the exam. As per the UGC NET Eligibility Criteria, the candidate who is in the final year of Post-Graduation or have passed his post-graduation with 55% (For General) or 50% (For ST/SC/OBC/PWD) marks from a government recognized institute are eligible to appear for the exam.

For the assistant professor, there is no upper age limit to apply.

Hi, you need to obtained masters degree for appearing ugc net. Also, doctorate is as per laters news in required for applying to the post of assistant professor in university. only on the basis of b.com and ugc net you cant apply for assistant professor.

If you want to be an Assistant Professor through UGC NET Exam, then you must fulfil the basic eligibility criteria to appear in UGC NET Exam.

• You must be holding a post-graduation.
• Minimum aggregate marks in postgraduation are 55% to appear in UGC NET Exam (5% relaxation will be provided to SC/ST/OBC/PwD candidates).
• There is no age limit if you want to appear in CBSE UGC NET for the post of Assistant Professor.

So, after completing B.Com, you must pursue for M.Com to appear in UGC NET Exam.

Qualifying in UGC NET will lead you to become an Assistant Professor.

It is an national level exam through which you will become lecturer or researcher at India's reputed institutes.

Hello Vartika! According to thr rules of UGC, you need to have a Ph.D. if you want to be a professor as you are not allowed to be a professor without a Ph.D.. Hope this helps!
