can i do step jump while answering any of the questions in wbjee exam sheet ..??????
Hi,
Hope you are doing well!
Wbjee is an engineering entrance exam with 2 papers each of two hours and has 40 mcq questions on physics,40 mcq questions in chemistry and 75 mcq questions in maths.
Paper I - Mathematics
Paper II - Physics and Chemistry
Since, it is a mcq exam and not a written exam you can do step jumping in problems while solving them in the rough. The marking is on the basis of the right answer selected in the mcq and if step jumping lengthy problems save your time then you can do that.Since it is a time based exam it would help you save time but you should be careful not doing silly mistakes while step jumping.

-
Physics - 40 questions
-
Chemistry - 40 questions

Now the examination would be held in multiple choice format and it completely depends upon candidate on how they want to attempt the questions. for example it is certainly possible that you could skip the category 1 type of questions to directly skip into category 2 or 3. It is is certainly advisable not to attempt those question which you do not know because it would lead to negative marking. The complete marking scheme is given below
