Hello souvik,
Sorry to inform you but it is clearly mentioned in the brochure of IIT and nits that minimum 75% marks are required in 12th or you should be in top 20 percentile for getting admission in any of the above mentioned colleges. You can give exam but at the time of counseling they will question you and will not allow to proceed further.
You have to apply for counselling and wait till last round , sometimes they even offer seats to students having good jee score and little less 12 marks but chances are rare.

Hello Souvik,
No, you will not be eligibile for NIT without 75% in higher secondary school. To be eligible for IITs and NITs you need to be eligibile for it.
The eligibility criteria are:-
- Candidates need to have secured a minimum 75% marks in class XII or equivalent exam or be in the top 20 percentile in their class XII exam conducted by the respective board.
- For SC/ ST candidates, the eligibility criteria are to secure 65% marks in class XII or equivalent exam.
