Hi, DIET Delhi admission 2019 will start in first week of july. SCERT releases all the important notifications for all the aspirants applying for this 2 year diploma course. There are some of the eligibility criterions you are required to meet:
- Candidates should have passed 10+2 with at least 50%(general category)/ 45%(SC/ST/PwD) marks in aggregate in order to be eligible to appear for the entrance exam
- The candidate must not be more than 24 years as on 30 September 2019
After appearing for the entrance exam, candidates will be selected for Spot round admission procedure and the list for the same will be displayed in the month of september 2019 and the documents submitted will be verifies in the same month.
Applicants who have appeared for the qualifying examination from a board other than CBSE, then their aggregate score in best 5 subjects including minimum one language will be considered out of 500 marks. DU reserves 85% of the seats for those who have passed 12th standard from school/study centre located near Delhi-NCR and 15% for candidates who passed 12th standard from school/study centre located outside Delhi-NCR.
Selection to this course is not just merit based but aso based on your performance in the entrance exam.
