IIIT Bangalore doesn't have a home state quota, nor does it take admission based on JEE Mains rank cutoffs. It takes admission based on JEE Mains marks. In year 2018, the marks required for admission in integrated 5-year M.tech in CSE was 182 whereas the minimum marks required for admission in integrated 5-year M.tech in ECE was 170. In year 2017, marks required for admission in integrated M.tech in CSE was 196,whereas marks required for admission in integrated M.tech in ECE was 186.
