If 96k is your obc category rank then unfortunately you won't get into any of the nits or iiits in the country.
You can not evey get into in any other good engineering college of the country with this rank of yours.
If you want to get into the nits then take a drop and try to score a percentile of something around 93+ to at least ensure a seat at any of the nit irrespective of the branch.
