I assume , you have asked for D.EL.ED course, i.e diploma in elementary education. it is 2 years course to prepare and teach candidates to become a teachers  in primary level, it can be done both full time and distance learning mood.

the basic eligibility criteria is candidate need to pass 10+2 course from a recognized education board on any stream.

D. El. Ed is a Diploma course in Elementary Education. It is a 2 year full time diploma course to train teachers for the primary level and can be done with classroom training or distance learning. It is a 4 semester course to prepare students to work in primary/ upper primary schools in different states of the country.

Candidates who have completed the D.El.Ed can further pursue the Bachelor of Education ( B.Ed) course and undertake a full time teaching job.
