Can I give DCET exam to get admission in betch civil engineering through lateral entry as I have completed diploma last year but I am from other state not from Karnataka and I get to know that the DCET is for Karnataka students so will I be allowed to give the DCET exam and get private college

No, you cannot take the DCET exam, as you need at least 7 years of study in Karnataka to be eligible. However, you can apply for lateral admission in private universities through the management quota.
