The admission process of Delhi University has started from 30th May. Now, coming to your query
The admission in Delhi university depends on several factors. First of all what matters for your admission in DU is aggregate percentage of Best four subjects. So a total of 88% does not imply anything about admission chances, your BFS would tell your chances of getting admission in Delhi university.
There are different cutoffs for different courses, more popular courses has higher cutoffs whereas courses like Hindi Hons. and B. Sc physical science has low cutoffs.
Also, your category determines the college you get.
If you belong to general category, then an overall percentage of 88, taking the BFS to be approximately same, you have less chances of getting admission in Delhi university. You would get admission in less popular courses like Hindi Hons. and Sanskrit Honors.
If your BFS is greater than 90, then you would get good course in the off campus college.
Hope it works.
It would be better if you can notify us about your BFS percentage and category and the course you want to pursue.
All the best.
yes, you can.
It depends on what course you want to pursue and also your category. If You are unreserved category you will not get a seat on top colleges of DU and in popular courses like journalism, political science honors, English honors, economics honors and so on. While if you're from the reserved category like ST/SC/OBC you may get a good college and even a popular course in successive cut offs. Also some courses kike BA Sanskrit honors, BA Hindi honors, some of vocational courses, etc. have cut offs as low as 60% and sometimes even to 50%. But in order to opt for these language courses you must have studied these language in your 12th. Otherwise you may face some disadvantage in your percentage calculation which depends from college to college.
hope this was helpful.
College koi bhi ho but DU ka ho
Bsc maths honors k lie h koi 88 % tak
As you may be knowing that DU is among the top Universities in India.
As you have secured 88% in class 12 so you will definitely be able to get admitted in one of the colleges under DU.
But, definitely you won't be able to make it to the top Colleges under DU since they demand high percentage generally >94%.
But, of course you will get decent college as per your percentage in class 12
