With a 71k CRL rank in JEE Main and OBC male category, you can still get decent options in newer NITs, some IIITs, GFTIs, and good state/private colleges.

Possible options include:
• National Institute of Technology Srinagar
• National Institute of Technology Nagaland
• National Institute of Technology Mizoram
• Indian Institute of Information Technology Manipur
• Indian Institute of Information Technology Bhagalpur

For branches, chances are better in:
• Mechanical
• Civil
• Production
• Metallurgy
• Chemical
• Lower-demand EEE/ECE in some colleges

CSE in top NITs/IIITs will be difficult at this rank.

You should definitely participate in:
• JoSAA counselling
• CSAB special rounds
• State counselling (Delhi, Maharashtra, etc.)
