Hey,
If you still think you need a gap between the two exams the only option you have is to change your mode of exam from Pen and Paper to Online mode. You may do this using the correction window of JEE Mains.
Note: This facility is available only to students who opted for offline mode (Pen and Paper mode) and not the reverse.
JEE Mains and CBSE board exams are independent of one another in terms of being easy or hard. Since the datesheet is out and Jee Mains (paper and pen mode) and CBSE class 12 Physical Education papers are on 8th and 9th April respectively leaving no gap in between, be mentally prepared to handle it. Ensure that you start revising for both since you still have approx 2 months time. Dont keep brooding over the schedule and start preparing right away.
All the best.
Hi Ash,
If your preparation for JEE Main is good, then PHE paper should not impact your JEE Main paper. Secondly, because class 12th PHE exam is just the very next day of JEE Main paper on April 8th, is not a reason that JEE Main paper will be easy this year. And you may expect the difficulty level of JEE Main 2018 paper as it has been so far and do not compromise with your JEE Main preparation.
Also, JEE Main and PHE papers are two distinct papers apart. The level of both the papers and their preparation is quite different. So, no such corealtion to impact each other's difficulty level exists.
What you need to focus on is how you can still (in this situation), grit your teeth, and think of ways how you can utilize everyday (from now on) to give your best for preparing towards both the exams simultaneously. You must be preparaed for the worst like this situation. The dates of PHE paper may not change, so important is to learn how you can balance studies for both JEE Main and PHE paper in this situation. Prepare well for both the papers well in advance, so that when you have just a few days left for both the papers, there is no pressure and you are completely confident of giving you best and cracking the exams. If you can do that, even if you have these papers back to back without any gap, you can manage to cover their syllabus in quick revision just a day or 2 before the papers. Same goes for PHE paper, your will be able to revise well after the JEE Paper on April 8 and with the limited hours left for appearing in PHE paper the very next day, you will be able to cope up well. Important is that you complete the syllabus of both the papers well before the exam, so that you have time for revision for both the exams.
Hello Ash,
JEE Main has nothing to do with CBSE exams, so the difficulty level should remain the same.
As for the tight schedule you have, you mustn't panic and hold your fort. Remember, the problem you are facing is not unique to you, but is faced by a lot of other students as well. So, if it is hampering your preparation, likewise it is hampering the preparation of other students as well.
In the given scenario, keep away from all the negativity and try to do what is best, and what your body and time permits. And yes, stay prepared for the worst case scenario - the schedule remains unchanged!
A few news outlets and concerned citizens have already taken up the issue with the CBSE, requesting them to see if the schedule can be modified. I would request to not to have high hopes, but if CBSE does hears the concerns of teh students and changes the schedule, it will definitely benefit you.
Best!
Best of luck!
Honestly I don't think so.CBSE class 12th exams level and jee mains exam level is totally different. And the jee mains questions level doesn't depends on schedule of 12th board exams. So you have to prepare for every situation now.You need to follow ncert books and make your fundamentals strong.Solve mock tests and previous years questions for practice and to enhance your skills in problem solving.Try to give your best!!
Good luck.
