Does 12th result is a hindrance for preparation for MBA that is cat? Does it effect during taking admission in colleges?

Hello bushra. Yes, majority of the top b-schools consider your class 12 marks for shortlisting for interview as well as for final selection. However, few colleges like IIFT, XLRI, JBIMS do not consider your class 12 marks for final selection. So, if you are focused for top IIMs, your class 12 marks play a big part. However, if you have a low score in class 12, then you need a stellar score in CAT and other management entrance exams in order to reduce the negative impact of low class 12 score.
