Yes,D Y Patil college has NRI/PIN/FN category.A person belonging to NRI/PIN/FN category does not require to appear for the entrance exam conducted by the institute.Howerver the candidate should submit a seperate form,available in the office of institute.The committee,appointed by the authority,admits candidates on the basic of merit list.

Under NRI/PIN/FN category,only those students who have studied and passed qualifying exam from school/college located at foreign countries are considered.This includes the students studying in school and colleges situated in foreign countries,even if the concerned school/college is affiliated to any board of secondary education in India.However wards of NRI/PIO's/Fn ,who are studying for the qualifying examination in school located in India are excluded.
