Does JEE Main score take into consideration for IISER admission?

Dear aspirant!

For taking admission in IISER  you have to satisfy any of these criteria:

(1) Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY) channel

(2) Joint Entrance Examination (JEE-Advanced) of the Indian Institutes of Technology

(3) State and Central Boards Channel (SCB)

Your jee main rank will not be accepted for the admission. You have to clear JEE advanced and score within 15000 crl rank.

For admission to IISER, you need valid JEE Advanced scores. Candidates with JEE Advanced scores are offered direct admission and don't have to appear in any entrance exam. However, JEE Main candidates are not eligible for admission at the institute.

If you have JEE Main score, the best thing to do would be to explore the other two routes of admission at the institute:

• Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY) – Under this scheme you can seek admission if you have valid KVPY fellowship.
