Yes ! Sure studying in cbse will help you in getting NET exam . All you have to do is to download the old question papers, compare and make up a strategy on how the questions were asked. Spend a week or so to understand how to prepare and what to look for when you read a topic. You will get through a lot of tries before you can successfully clear one.
In order to crack NET you should have extensive General Knowledge about your subject. Every key words, every concepts, every dates and each and every person involved.
