Does the cut off marks for NEET UG is decided by the no. of seats available or the rank that one scores

The cutoff marks is decided by the number of studengts giving it and the marks they scored. The percentile method is followed.

If 50% of the students score above 116 like this year, then the cutoff is 116.

eligibility cut off is based on percentile...50 for oc and 40 for obc and so on ...

the cut off for different colleges is decided by the number seats available at that college and also your rank ... the rank of the last person to choose a seat in a college is considered the cut off..
