Does VIT give concession of fees for the students who top their entrance exam?

Yes VIT does provide scholarship to top rankers in their exam VITEEE.

The scholarship are as follows-

• 75% off on tution fee for rank 1 to 50
• 50% off on tution fee for rank 51 to 100
• 25% off on tution fee for rank 101 to  1000.
• They also provide 100% scholarship to  state or central board toppers.

Hello aspirant, I cannot confirm something like this but surely their so some fee waiver for the students who have topped their examination. Top 10 toppers get a fee waive upto 50% . You can enquire this with admission cell also. All the very best for your future.

Basically, there is no concession available based on VITEEE rank.

Only state toppers are provided with a full fee waiver. And also VIT has a scheme called STAR Students only for Tamil Nadu students. Two toppers (1 boy, 1 girl) from each district of Tamil Nadu are directly admitted into VIT with a fee waiver.

According to the rank secured, you will fall into different categories of fees.

Later, a scholarship scheme is available only for economically weaker students. For this you will have to qualify the following conditions:

1) The student should be meritorious and should have scored a good GPA continuously.

2) Family income should be less than 1.5 lacs. You will have to provide required documents like income certificate etc. which has to be approved by the faculty coordinator, Program Chair and Dean. Then it will be forwarded for further scrutiny.

3) I don't know how many students have received this scholarship.
