Admission to B.E. in Aeronautical Engineering offered by the Madras Institute of Technology (Anna University) is done on the basis of merit and rank secured by the candidate in Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) counselling. To be eligible for TNEA, one needs to pass 10+2 in science stream with 50% average marks in PCM (45% for OBC & minority caste, 40% for SC/ST candidates). The online registration of TNEA 2019 will start tentatively in the 1st week of May.

Since admissions to B.E. in Aeronautical Engineering is done for Regular (not self-supporting seats), the fees is INR 75,840. There might be some increase with the change in an academic year.
