Don't Miss: NIRF DU Colleges Ranking
Hi Ricky
I believe you areenquiring about the notification released by Faculty of Medical Sciences (FMS), University of Delhi. As per the notification, FMS will not be conducting the admission process for 85% State Quota seats of colleges affiliated with Delhi University. The counselling will be conducted by Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). This implies that the seats of medical and dental colleges affiliated with DU will be divided between 15% All India Quota and 85% State Quota like last year only the conducting body for both the type of seats is MCC.
The eligibility criteria remain the same. The candidates who have qualified NEET UG will be eligible for both the types of the counselling process. In addition for 85% State Quota seats, candidates who have studied Class 11 and 12 from an institution located in the National Capital Territory of Delhi only will be eligible.
The counselling process will start on June 13, 2018. The website to register for the counselling process will be the official website of MCC. The result of the counselling process will be declared on June 22, 2018. If a candidate is allotted a seat in a college affiliated with DU then they will be required to register with FMS. The registration fee for General and OBC candidates is INR 1,500/- and for SC, ST and PwD candidates, the fee is INR 1,000/-. It must be noted that only the candidates who will be allotted seats in the counselling process should fill the registration form. FMS will also release an information brochure before the registration process starts.
