diploma in computer science engineering is 3 years duration course. private as well as government engineering polytechnic colleges offers this course. admission is based on entrance exams test conducts by the state wise exam conducting authority. for west bengal there is JEXPO, tamilnadu has TSPOLYCET, bihar state has bihar polytechnic entrance. the eligibility criteria is candidates must completed 10th course or ITI course equivalent to 10th standard  with science and mathematics as a mandatory subjects. students who have passed 12th in science stream are also eligible to apply. you need to check the official website of the exams conducts by your state authority to check the eligibility criteria.
