Hello i am vit student of first year.calculus for engineers look like ghost for me plz help me to crack it
hello candidate,
Read the basics. Try to work out more problem sets. See the patterns. Look for techniques. Clarify doubts with your professor. Get clear with your basics. Then your brain would get automatically wired for the patterns and you'd get comfortable with the subject soon. Once you are comfortable with the subject, try to work it out with real-time applications. The more you apply, the more you will master the subject. For engineering majors I suggest brushing up on Trig (Dave’s A Short Course on Trig may prove useful) and Algebra cold. Pauls Online Math Notes is good for Calculus I, II, III and DEs at the level of an engineering major. Khan Academy , ocw.mit.edu and youtube: Professor Leonard and PatrickJMT is also useful. Now for “MASTERING” calculus, practice a lot. Make sure computations are somewhat decent but no need to overdo it, as understanding is much needed than practising the concepts.
hope it helped.
