According to the eligibility of JAM, a candidate should have completed his graduation. Since you're in your first year of B.Sc, you may not be allowed to sit for JAM 2019. For more details, visit the link below:

There are no restrictions for the number of attempts in IIT JAM Exam. But JAM Exam can be given by only those who have their graduation degree with minimum 55% marks for General & OBC and 50% marks for SC, ST categories.

Final year students can also fill the IIT JAM Application Form but they must submit their documents by 30th Sept 2019.

Before filling the JAM Application Form you must make sure you satisfy all the eligibility criteria required to appear in the JAM Exam.
